Flier for the 1993 Concert on the Lawn

The 1993 Concert on the Lawn of the Virginia Glee Club, like all Concerts on the Lawn, was a free outdoor performance held Saturday, April 17, 1993, during the 1992-1993 season. Directed by John Liepold, the performance was held on the south portico of the Rotunda and featured traditional Glee Club repertoire as well as a large group arrangement of the Rolling Stones' "You Can't Always Get What You Want" (arranged by Virginia Gentlemen music director and Club assistant director John Navarrete).

The flier shows the Glee Club Guy, drawn from an 1853 illustration by Porte Crayon.
