Hampton Parton Abney, Jr. (July 13, 1903 in Sherman, Texas – February 26, 1935)[1][2] was manager of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1924-1925 and 1925-1926 seasons, and was also a member during the 1923-1924 season. A fourth year student in the law department during the season, he was also a member of Phi Kappa Psi, Sigma Eta Gamma, Skull and Keys, P.K. Society, assistant manager of the boxing team in 1924, assistant instructor in Spanish in 1924, and clubs editor of Corks and Curls.[3]
