McCarthy, 1950 Corks and Curls
John Wentworth McCarthy, Jr. (May 23, 1927 in LaPorte, Indiana – September 24, 2010),[1][2] was a member of the Virginia Glee Club during the Glee Club 1946-1947 and 1947-1948 seasons. Graduating in 1950, he was also a member of Sigma Chi, the Jefferson Literary and Debating Society, and the editorial staff of the Virginia Spectator.[3]
McCarthy served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was in the United States Department of State for more than thirty years.[2]
