Tarantella is a work for men's voices and piano, originally composed by Randall Thompson in 1937 for the Harvard Glee Club, based on a poem by Hilaire Belloc. The Virginia Glee Club premiered the work during the Glee Club 1941-1942 season under Thompson's direction, and it has occasionally remained in the group's repertoire.
The work was first recorded by the Princeton Glee Club in 1947.[1]
